The project, with its approach, offers an alternative to the existing tourism facilities in the region.
A quarter of the site was transformed into a miniature forest with native plants and fruit trees, which offer many secluded natural areas which serve different functions. The forest is juxtaposed with the pool area, covering it partially with plants and thus creating natural shade. The adjoining restaurant serves both the pool area and the garden behind; another cosy space surrounded by a landscape of organic gardens and edible plants, which in turn are used in the restaurant.
The public spaces and the rental houses are linked by a “living circulation area”, with a diversified rhythm of both mineral and vegetal elements.
The rental houses form a natural barrier between the public space of the facility and the road.
This gives users the possibility to enjoy a calm, natural environment in the midst of a village.
The modular elements used for the living circulation area also serve other functions; in the case of the rental houses, they were used to create spaces in between the structures, with differing levels of intimacy.
